The Movement Lab Studio offers outdoor group classes twice a week. Regain your natural movement abilities through guided practice outdoors while practicing safe, social distancing.
Taught by Level 2 MoveNat instructor Rich O’ Connor, MoveLab Outside classes are designed to help you build the strength, mobility, balance and coordination that nature intended.
Wednesday’s MoveLab Outside class takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grisham Park.
Sunday MoveLab Outside classes for all levels, held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., will resume on September 13. Location to be determined.
MoveLab classes are open to all levels and new participants are encouraged to attend. We will cover a wide variety of skills and exercises that are progressive and can be tailored to most fitness levels.

Meet Shelby Walters
We’re happy to announce our newest Movement Lab Studios instructor, Shelby Walters!
Shelby received her certification in Pilates in 2015 and became certified in the GYROTONIC® method in March 2020.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with my master trainer,” Shelby says.
In 2003, Shelby received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of New Mexico.
“I have always loved to move my body and help others feel good in theirs,” Shelby says.
She was introduced to the GYROTONIC® system in 2012, but it wasn’t until three years and multiple surgeries later that she was hooked.
“The GYROTONIC® work opens my spine and joints in ways I never imagined possible,” Shelby says, “and the endless creativity of the work provides support to all other types of movement.”
Shelby is currently teaching the Tuesday GYROTONIC® In-studio Pulley Tower class for all levels from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Shelby is available for private sessions and will be teaching additional classes soon.
